A Wellness and Restoration Institution for Veterans and Their Families

Hero Haven is a permanent, destination-quality campus being established in Texas — governed with discipline, funded by philanthropy, and designed for long-term service to those who served and the families who serve alongside them.

Institutional Identity

An Institution, Not a Gesture.

Hero Haven is not a retreat center. It is not a resort with a charitable component. It is a wellness and restoration institution for veterans and their families — designed as a permanent institution with governance, capital discipline, and long-horizon stewardship at its foundation.

What does not exist in the United States today is a permanent, nationally scaled wellness and restoration institution designed exclusively for veterans and their families. Hero Haven is being built to answer that gap — with permanence instead of interruption, integration instead of fragmentation, and institutional depth instead of episodic relief.

Its destination-quality campus, golf, hospitality, and family-centered programming exist in service of one purpose: lasting restoration, dignity, and renewal for those who served and the families who serve alongside them.

Capital Discipline No construction begins before 50% of Phase I capital is secured. Debt is capped at 25% or less. Philanthropy leads this build — not leverage.

Governance-Led Formation Independent board governance, finance and audit oversight, and program integrity authority are built in from inception — not added after the fact.

The Hero Haven Model

Four Pillars. One Purpose.

01 Wellness

Restorative Wellness

Evidence-informed wellness programming designed to support the whole veteran — mind, body, and the long arc of recovery — in an environment built with institutional seriousness.

02 Family

Family Restoration

Family-centered restoration that recognizes the family system as integral to long-term veteran wellness — not a secondary consideration, but a core design principle of the institution.

03 Golf

Golf as Restoration

Golf as an anchor feature, therapeutic modality, and standing program pillar — providing rhythm, relationship, and a pathway of restoration that can be revisited, repeated, and lived inside.

04 Hospitality

Mission-Aligned Hospitality

Destination-quality hospitality in service of the mission — lodging, dining, and guest experience designed to communicate from the moment of arrival: this place was built for you.

The Mission Deserves a Serious Institution. This Is How We Build One.

Hero Haven is being built in the right sequence — governance first, capital second, construction third. If this institution resonates with you as a donor, a partner, or someone who simply believes it should exist, there is a role for you in this season.
